Sandisfield New Home Construction Checklist

New Homes in Sandisfield should follow the following procedure:

• Acquire house number from the Town Clerk- (413) 258-4711 Ext. 2
• Acquire 911 emergency sign from Fire Chief and install visibly on property.  (413) 258-4742 
• Apply for Driveway permit from DPW Superintendent. highways@sandisfieldma.gov - (413) 717-7627
• Contact Board of Health for Septic and Well permitting and Approval. (413) 258-4711 x 2 
• Apply for a Building Permit through the Online Permitting program Permiteyes 

Building permit will require:

• Sitemap
• Plans for construction – include details for the home and foundation 
• Preliminary HERS rating certificate for MA Energy Compliance
• Well Permit/ Septic approval
• Filled out application and above documentation uploaded online via Permiteyes…. No “paper permits” accepted….this is important for future record retention.
