Short Term Rental BOH Information
Short-Term Rental Applicants,
Below are the requirements that will satisfy the board of health for the town’s new Short-Term Rental application.
Septic Requirements: -With the initial first year application, a pumping record be obtained of tank being pumped within the last 90 days of application date. -Every three (3) consecutive years of short-term rental applications will require a pumping record be obtained of tank being pumped within the last 90 days of application date.
| Well-water Requirements: -With the initial first year application, a well water analysis performed by certified lab must be conducted and measure at least the following contents and within potable water standards: Lead, Nitrates, Nitrites, E. Coli, Coliforms. -For all following years applicants may only provide basic water potablility test with absents of e. coli & coliforms. |
Free water test kits and instructions are available to applicants for the MicroBac Lab in Lee. Available by request. [email protected] Other labs may require a different set of containers and instructions.
