Transfer Station Updates

The Town of Sandisfield would like to take a moment to address the changes regarding the Transfer Station.

The hours have been reduced from 19 hours to 15 hours in the summer and 12 hours in the winter. This aligns the town more closely with our neighbors.

Summer Hours:

  • Wed: 2:00pm – 5:00pm
  • Sat: 9:00am – 3:00pm
  • Sun: 12:00pm – 6:00pm

Winter Hours: TBD

Additionally, the sticker price has increased to $90.00 for the first sticker and $10.00 for your household’s additional one sticker. The increasing costs of operating the Transfer Station is being split between annual appropriations at town meeting and the revenue raised by the stickers/recycling fees.
