HELP WANTED - PART TIME TOWN CUSTODIAN

The Town of Sandisfield is seeking applicants for the position of part time Town Custodian.

Town Custodian is responsible for maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, which are purchased with Town funds. Must have your own reliable transportation. Must be able to stand, bend, climb, lift, kneel, reach and push repetitively. The position is 10 - 12 hours per week. Pay scale is $14.00-$19.00 per hour.

Primary duties include:

Town Hall, 66 Sandisfield Rd.

• Maintains and cleans two restrooms
• Maintains and cleans Town Hall common areas including offices, as needed.  Includes dusting, mopping and vacuuming. 
• Bags office trash and brings outside to trash cans
• Light routine maintenance, e.g.,change light bulbs

Community Center / COA room, 66 Sandisfield Rd.  

• Maintains and cleans downstairs room in Town Hall
• Maintains and cleans one restroom
• Bags trash and brings outside to trash cans

Dept. of Public Works, 5 Silverbrook Rd.

• Maintains and cleans two restrooms 

Old Town Hall, 3 Silverbrook Rd.

• Cleans and mops floors, monthly or as needed
• Maintains and cleans restroom
• Bags trash and leaves near doorway for pickup

Library, 23 Sandisfield Rd.

• Cleans and vacuum upstairs, monthly or as needed
• Cleans inside windows
• Light routine maintenance, e.g., change light bulbs
