GUIDELINES FOR ALL VISITORS & ALL PERSONS TRAVELING TO SANDISFIELD
Please be advised that all visitors and persons traveling to Sandisfield are instructed to comply with the following guidelines.
We are advising rental hosts to refuse rental inquiries at this time in order to protect the well-being of the local population. Should you rent to a person needing quarantine, you will be responsible for providing their basic food and comfort needs. Should someone become symptomatic while at your rental, they will have to remain at your rental until they have been medically cleared of disease.
The local infrastructure, especially the health care infrastructure, is not prepared for an influx of part-time residents. Please stay at your primary residences.
Please do not expect that resources will be available to you here that are not available to you in your home location. Berkshire County has a limited number of healthcare resources, and testing capacity is also very limited.
Governor Baker has instructed all travelers arriving from outside Massachusetts to self-quarantine for 14 days. Visitors are instructed not to go to Massachusetts if they are displaying symptoms.
Travelers and visitors that choose to come anyway, should bring food and supplies with them, self-quarantine for 14-days, send only one family member to shop after that 14-day period has expired.
After 14-days of quarantine, follow the State’s requirements for social distancing. Stay 6 feet apart. Do not congregate in groups of more than 10. Only venture out for food and pharmaceuticals.
Please do not travel here seeking isolation. You should shelter-in-place at your primary residence to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.
Thank you for your cooperation.
