FY 23 Transfer Station Applications

The Town of Sandisfield is switching its Transfer Station stickers from calendar to fiscal year so that we may better budget for this service to our residents. Half-year stickers will be available at half price and valid until June 30, 2023. You may purchase annual stickers for July 1-June 30 thereafter. Thank you for your support.

Transfer Station stickers for the end of Fiscal Year 2023, 01/01/2023 – 06/30/2023 are due for renewal.  The fee is $37.50 for two stickers. 

If you WILL NOT be using the Transfer Station, your household MUST LET US KNOW HOW YOU WILL BE DISPOSING OF YOUR TRASH. Check the box below and return the slip via mail or email to jbeardsley@sandisfieldma.gov. 

If you WILL BE using the Transfer Station:

• Please complete and detach the form below. Mail form with a return envelope and a check payable to “Town of Sandisfield” addressed to:

• If you would like to purchase your sticker in person, visit Town Hall Mon, Wed or Thurs, 10am-3pm.  Or see Transfer Station Attendant during operating hours, Wed 12pm-5pm, Sat & Sun 9am-4:00pm.    

CHECKS PREFERRED. Card payment not available.

Rules for issuing transfer station stickers: NO EXCEPTIONS.

• Each household MUST purchase a sticker if you will be using the Transfer Station.
• If you rent an apartment within your home, this is a SEPARATE household and both you and your tenant must have a sticker.
• If you own more than one home, each home must have a sticker of its own.
• Stickers must be affixed to your vehicle in the driver’s side rear window.
• The Transfer Station is for household trash ONLY. Businesses are prohibited.
• At any time, the person issuing stickers may ask for photo identification or proof of residency.
• If you do not provide a valid license plate number, you will NOT receive a sticker.

As of January 1, 2023, any vehicle NOT displaying the ORANGE sticker will be denied access to the Transfer Station.
