DPW UPDATE - BACKHOE HAS ARRIVED

A used 2016 JCB 3CX-14 backhoe was delivered to the DPW today. The purchase of a machine was approved at last year's town meeting. Three bids were received by the Town and the $59,975 award went to Liftech out of Schenectady, NY.

- 91 HP Diesel Engine
- 14 FT Centermount Backhoe
- Extradig Dipper, Easy Controls, Flip Over Pads,
- Autoshift Transmission with LSD and TorqueLock
- Enclosed Cab, AC, Heat
- Hammer/Bi-Directional Aux Hydraulics
- Loader Aux. Hydraulics, Return To Dig, Auto Smooth Ride System
- 1.40 cubic yard loader
- Bucket with BOCE
- 24” Excavating Bucket
The machine will be used for digging and cleaning roadside ditches, picking up debris and will help with many upcoming Spring/Summer road projects.
